Unfortunately, for language translation services, there is no standard method for quoting prices. The English Russian sector is no exception to this rule. In some countries translators and translation companies quote by the source (the language from which the document is translated) or target (the language into which the document is translated) language, by a 'standard' page, 'by symbol'. In Germany they may even quote per 'line' (which generally consists of 55 to 60 characters).
In the UK and US, the normal practice is to quote
'per word' or 'per thousand words'. Fortunately, this is gradually
becoming universally accepted, therefore if you have an accurate
word count of the material that you want translating, I can provide
